Description


This trinity helps Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh to create, maintain and destroy (to regenerate) the universe respectively. Her devotees offer prayers while chanting the Saraswati Vandana.

Goddess Saraswati is also referred to as Vedamata (‘mother of the Vedas’), Bharati, Shatarupa, Brahmi, Sarada, Vagisvari, and Putkari. She is also known to be the “Deity of Speech”.

The goddess is prayed to remove the darkness of mind and bless the devotees with a clear vision and eternal knowledge. Goddess Saraswati is the epitome of education and knowledge. By invoking her blessings, a person can gain knowledge and wisdom.
